After Match Refreshments

Hi All

I have been getting a few enquiries with regards to after match refreshments and whether they should be provided this season.

We as a league have decided that NO after match refreshments should be provided until all Covid restrictions have been lifted.

Once all of these have been lifted we will leave it to each clubs discretion if to provide them or not for the remainder of this season.

Hope this answers any questions.

Regards

Lesley
League Secretary

2021 Season

Ten clubs have entered sixteen teams to compete in the 2021 season so we will have two divisions of eight teams. Albrighton, Mortimer and Much Wenlock will not be participating this year.

The season will start on Tuesday 29th June and finish on Tuesday 28th September. Fixtures are now live on the Results Service.

League rules have been relaxed in order to get as many bowlers back on the greens as possible. Full details:

The following rule changes will apply for the extraordinary 2021 season only

  • To override 1d: There will be no promotion or relegation.

  • To override 2b: teams will consist of 8 players. They will have to be registered on the Results System but registration will not be restricted. Rules 11a, 11f , 11g & 12 will not apply.

  • Rules 3a & 3b will not apply.

  • No fines will be imposed so rules 4b &4c will not apply.

  • To override rule 8: League winners will receive £100, runners-up £75 and third place £50. There will be no individual prizes awarded.
